Once known as Avec La Vie, Rebecca Lefebvre’s creative journey has always been about living with intention, noticing the quiet magic in the everyday, and honoring the in-between moments that shape us. Today, her work is brighter, bolder, and more layered—both in paper and in meaning. From vibrant paintings and sculpted feathered forms to soul-tending card decks, everything she creates invites you to feel more deeply, wonder more freely, and live a little more consciously. Through the Art & Wellness Institute, Rebecca partners with communities and organizations to spark connection, cultivate presence, and bring artful, purposeful beauty into shared spaces. Her work is always changing—because she is too. That’s the gift of being alive.

What is Assemblage?
In the art world, assemblage is the process of creating something new by combining many different materials—layer by layer, step by step. It’s part sculpture, part collage, part alchemy. In Rebecca’s work, this might mean hand-cut paper feathers, bits of thread, found textures, or bold, unexpected color combinations—each chosen with intention, then allowed to evolve.

Handmade Feathered Forms
Each bird begins as a spark—an idea in flight—and comes to life through layers of hand-cut paper, mixed media, and a whole lot of curiosity. Bold, textural, and a little bit wild, these sculpted forms are both playful and soulful. Every piece is a celebration of movement, presence, and becoming. Whether perched in a gallery, floating in a classroom, gathering in a public art installation, or nesting in your home, they’re made to catch the light, stir conversation, and gently remind us that transformation doesn’t happen all at once—it happens layer by layer, in the beautiful, in-between moments.

Inspiration rarely announces itself. It could be anything—a color, a question, a quiet moment. So stay present. Explore often. Be open to wonder. Sometimes, the smallest spark changes everything.
Rooted in nature and guided by my whole-health philosophy, my collection of creative wellness tools is designed to inspire healing, mindfulness, and everyday creativity.
The final sets of my original nature-inspired card decks are almost sold out—and I'm thrilled to announce the Art of Noticing Deck Collection—a growing series of nature-inspired card decks created to invite presence, curiosity, and reflection into your everyday life.
The collection currently includes four beloved editions:
The Everyday Presence Edition – for grounding in the here and now
The Saltwater Edition – inspired by the tides and rhythms of coastal life
The Mountain Edition – steeped in stillness, strength, and wild wonder
The Blooming Edition – celebrating the cycles of growth, rest, and renewal
New Series of 60 Original Works
This new style—layering watercolor paper with spray paint, mixed media, and collage—has opened a fresh and expressive dimension to my creative process. It will serve as the foundation for a bold new series of 60 original works that explore symbolism, transformation, and the quiet intelligence of the natural world, specifically through the eyes of our revered avian friends and co-habitants on Earth. Once completed, these paintings will serve as the backdrop for a new deck: Featherlight–Echoes of the Sky. This upcoming deck is a reverent exploration of birds as messengers, guides, and reflections of the human spirit. Each bird in the collection carries a word and a story—a whisper of meaning for those navigating their own transformations. The Hispaniolan trogon, with its quiet strength and jewel-toned grace, is the first of many wings taking flight.
