I create original art, installations and participatory experiences inspired by nature and the beautifully complicated experience of being human. My work explores who we are as individuals, what connects us and how creativity can help us see ourselves—and one another—a little differently.
And—every now and again—I create a whimsical thing.

What began as 150 individually handmade birds suspended together in a public installation—Murmuration: The Dance of Starlings—is now evolving into a global participatory artwork.
Inspired by the extraordinary movements of starlings, Murmuration in Motion explores individuality, belonging, interconnectedness and unity. As birds from the original installation find their way into new homes and communities, their journeys become part of a growing artwork shaped by the people, places and stories they encounter along the way.

I believe many of the answers we're looking for are closer than we realize—hidden in the small details, quiet patterns and different perspectives of everyday life. The Art of Noticing is an invitation to pay attention, question what we think we know and remain curious about what else might be possible.
Noticing begins with three simple practices:

Every collaboration begins with an idea. What it becomes depends on the people, place and possibilities we discover together.
